If you are looking for an inspirational keto diet menu for beginners, this is it. Easy to follow recipes, and no mumbo-jumbo — keto has never been easier, if you read through this cookbook. It effortlessly walks you through all the basic keto diet do’s and don’ts in a relatable and human language. It makes the whole diet sound less like a diet and more like a way of life — it’s practical and convenient, if you give yourself the time to adapt. The book is filled with pictures and helpful explanations, and each recipe comes with several variations in case you don’t like some of the ingredients. Each of the essential ketogenic products is presented in a separate chapter (e.g. Avocado, Beef, Eggs, Fish), so that makes it easy to browse through and find directly what you need.
Can you ketonize some of the most beloved and popular recipes? The one your grandma used to make before the whole world went vegan, paleo and keto? Why yes, yes you can have a healthy keto diet that feels like grandma’s cooking, and this book shows you how. It has over 200 recipes that are easy to follow and don’t require you to be a master chef in order to pull them through. If you plan on following a strict keto diet plan, it can be intimidating to know by heart which foods you are allowed to eat and which you should avoid at all cost. This is where these handy fridge magnets come to the rescue. With them, you can easily see at a glance what is the nutritional value of all the general food products you are allowed to eat on keto. This makes it easy to do some quick maths and calculate your daily intake of carbs and other macros. That way you won’t risk overstepping your carefully set food restrictions. This book does a very good job in introducing newbies to the complicated keto world in a seemingly easy and digestible way. Keto for Dummies is written in plain, human language and explains everything — from the background of keto, to the processes that happen in your body when it goes in ketosis, all the way to explaining why following keto will benefit your overall health. It is a very useful read when it comes down to designing your personal ketogenic diet plan.

There is no single answer to that — it depends on how you design your meal plan. What worked well for me is to space out my carbs throughout the day, as much as I can. It sucks to eat 50-60% of them in the beginning of the day, since you will suffer later on. Yes, it is! Dairy is one of the key keto ingredients but you should be careful with what dairy you consume while on the diet. Generally speaking, full fat products are preferable to skimmed and low fat options. What’s best is that 1 egg can keep you feeling full for hours. Another common misconception is that you shouldn’t eat the whole egg, as the yolk contains too much cholesterol.
